The boolean tool needs the rapidTools toolset to make it work. If you have it, then it will work the same way as you can find it with the rapidTools toolset.

When you are Subtracting an object from another, then keep in mind that when performing a subtraction, then you always have to select operand B first and then you have to select operand A. In this case all the objects in B will be subtracted from operand A.
