Octopus Manager
UserInterface¶
The user interface of Octopus consists of several parts. Thse are the following:
Octopus Manager¶
Octopus Manager contains all the settings that you can use to edit your menus.
Presets¶
This dropdown contains all of your available menus.
Editing Buttons¶
This the menu where you can Save, Create, Duplicate or Delete your presets.
WYSIWYG Editor¶
The What You See Is What You Get editor is the main place, where you can interact with your buttons. This is the place where you can set up most of the behavioral settings, including maxscripts as well. You can drag n drop actions and icons to the buttons, also you can turn buttons on/off or you can add additional buttons below the menu.
Quick Access Toolbar¶
The quick access toolbar is the place where you can bring up other menus and where you can go to the social pages, or where you can visit this documentation. The following menus can be found here:

- Discord
- Documentation
Version Indicator¶
The version indicator shows you in which version the menu is created.
Warning
Menu created for Octopus 1 and 2 are not compatible with Octopus 3
