Texel Density

Texel Density

UVReactor offers an effective and very simple way to set up the Texel Density of the UV shells. Texel density defines the relation of the pixel size in world space. There are several different measurement units.

In most cases it's measure in \(px/m\), but also \(px/cm\) or \(px/mm\).

Get Texel Density picks the TD of the currently selected UV shells. Set Texel Density sets the TD of the currently selected UV shells.

The Texel Density is binded to the Texture Resolution.

Get Texel Density and Texture Resolution

Ideally the texel density should be fixed in most cases like \(10 px/cm\) or \(1 px/mm\) and only the texture resolution changes based on the resolution of the used texture.
