Topology editing

The two main functions to edit UV topology.

Break

Break is doing what it tells. Breaks an edge to two separated edge, forming a seam.

Stitch

Stitch welds the vertices along the selected edges. UVReactor unlike other software supports multi-stitching with UV shell snapping and texel density matching. This means when you select only on side of the edges, that you want to stitch, the other side of the UV shell will be rescaled rotated and moved into the appropriate position. The system can handle multiple shells at once as well. It also supports lazy mode, so the system will filter down the selection to the seams, speeding up the entire UV stitching process.

Info

Snap to selection takes care of the size of the UV shells as well.

Note

You can turn off snapping if you like.
