Axis

Axis is one of the first menus created for Octopus. It is a screen space based aligning tool which uses the actions from the Axis Maxscript which can be downloaded from the link below.

The working methodology is very simple. It aligns the selected objects or sub-objects to the extrema of the selection. Since it’s screen space based you can easily identify which is the extrema of your selection in a particular direction. The menu is using the Hover / Preview so you don’t even have to click a button for the action to take affect.
